03 / 04Still · the gallery

An empty gallery, and the reason it is empty.

A gallery is a promise that there is something to look at. We have no customer project to photograph, so there are no images on this page at all — not a mockup, not a stock photo, not a screenshot with the name taken off.

Why not just fill it

Because you would never find out.

That is the whole problem with a fake gallery. It works. Nobody checks, nobody can check, and the shop that faked it is indistinguishable from the shop that did the work — right up until you are the one paying.

01

It costs an hour to fake

Twelve tiles, twelve invented businesses, twelve screenshots of something nobody delivered. Anyone can do it in an afternoon, which is exactly why a full gallery on its own tells you almost nothing.

02

A placeholder does not stay a placeholder

The moment it is live, it is a claim. "We will swap those out later" is a sentence said inside the business and never once heard by the person reading the page.

03

You would have paid for the difference

If a gallery is what decides it, then the shop that lies best wins the work. We would rather lose it to somebody with real projects than win it with invented ones.

None of this is modesty. We are telling you the trick because you are going to see it on other sites this week, and it is worth being able to spot.

The conditions

What has to be true before anything appears here.

Written down so it is a rule rather than an intention, and so the next person to edit this page knows what the bar is.

  • A real, finished project for a real business, delivered and running — not a pitch, not a trial, not a favour half done.
  • That business's permission in writing to be shown, with their name on it. Not verbal, not assumed, not "they would not mind".
  • The actual screens or the actual site, as delivered. Not a redraw, not a tidied-up version, not a render of what it might look like.
  • A description of what it does that the customer would agree with if they read it out loud.

And what will not appear here, ever

  • Greyed-out or blurred logos, or "client name withheld".
  • Stock photography standing in for work, or a mockup of something we have not built.
  • A number, a percentage or a revenue figure attached to any of it, unless the customer published it themselves.

ALG-G01—

A delivered project, as delivered

The actual screens or the actual site of a real business we finished for, shown with their name on it and their written permission to show it.

StatusEmpty. Fills only when all four conditions above are true.

ALG-G02—

The same thing, in use

The system running in the business rather than in a demo account — whatever is on the screen that the owner is happy for a stranger to read.

StatusEmpty. Needs a finished project and its owner's written yes.

ALG-G03—

A description they would sign

A caption saying what it does that the customer would agree with if you read it back to them out loud. Written by us, checked by them, not the other way round.

StatusEmpty. The caption is the part most galleries invent.

Until all four of the first list are true, these three stay exactly as they are. You are looking at the shape of the gallery with nothing in it — which is a truer thing to hand you than a full one you cannot check. An empty page you can trust is worth more than that.

Fair questions

What people ask when they read this page.

All of these are reasonable, and none of them has an answer we would rather you did not hear.

So you have never done this for anyone?

We have not published a customer project, and that is the claim this page is careful about. If you want to know exactly what has and has not been delivered for someone else, ask on the call and you will get a straight answer rather than a page like this one.

Everybody else has a portfolio. Why not just show something?

Because the only things we could put here are invented, and an invented gallery is worth exactly nothing to you the day something goes wrong. We would rather be the shop that told you.

What happens to this page when you do have work to show?

It fills up, with names on it, with those customers' written permission. The conditions are listed further up this page on purpose, so you can hold us to them later.

Anything else, ask it directly: support@affordableleadsgeneration.ca. A question we cannot answer honestly is one we would rather not be asked twice.

Half an hour on the phone, then a written plan of what we would build first. The call and the plan are both free, and the plan is yours either way.
