Both your hands are busy โ€” that is the whole problem

You are mid-set with a client. The phone rings and you physically cannot answer it. That was a booking, and it just became a booking at the studio down the street.

โ€œCan I bring a friend?โ€

โœ“Appointments booked without touching your phone

A call she takes for nail & lash studios

What your caller hears

She reads your own services, prices and hours, so she answers the way you would.

Caller

Do you have anything today? I need a fill, my set is growing out.

Your receptionist

Let me look at the book. Can I take your name and the number you are on?

Caller

It is Priya.

Your receptionist

Thanks Priya. Is that a fill on the same set, or are you taking them off and going for a new full set?

Caller

Just a fill. Can my sister come at the same time for a pedicure?

Your receptionist

I will put down a fill and a pedicure together, and the studio will confirm they have someone free for both.

Caller

Perfect. Afternoon is best for us.

Your receptionist

Booked for this afternoon. You will get a text with the details, and the studio will see it is a fill plus a pedicure for the person coming with you.

Hear one

A scripted demonstration for nail & lash studios, not a recording of a customer call: the business, the caller and any prices in it are made up, and the caller is voiced. What is real is the receptionist, and you can hear her live on the demo line above.

On every call

What she writes down

Name and the number they are calling from, taken early in the call.
The service asked for: a fill, a full set, a soak off, a pedicure, lashes.
Whether anyone is coming with them, so the studio can set aside a seat.
When they can come, and the booking she made or the times they offered.
Straight answers

What nail & lash studios ask us

My hands are literally in someone's set when the phone goes. Does she need me for any of it?

No. She answers on her own, reads out your price list, and books into your Google Calendar with a confirmation text to the client. The lead is texted to you the moment the call ends, so you read it between clients.

A client calls about a reaction, a cut or an infection. What happens?

She is a receptionist, not a clinician. She does not give medical advice and does not tell anyone whether something is serious. If a caller describes an emergency she tells them to hang up and call emergency services, or gives them the instruction you typed in at setup.

Half my clients do not call in English.

She answers in the language the caller uses and stays in it for the whole call, Punjabi and Hindi included. What she sends you afterwards is the same either way: name, number, what they wanted, and the transcript in your dashboard.

You get the lead

Name, number and what they wanted โ€” texted to you, and in your CRM.
